Executive Lets raise money for Wear It Pink Breast Cancer Campaign

BOTH SUCCESSFUL and versatile ─ that's the staff of Executive Lets. They are as skilful in the kitchen as they are in the office. Whether you're looking for a short let or shortbread, the staff in the Company's two North Hill offices will come up with the goods ! They are just as able at baking cakes as they are at processing property, and they've just proved it.
Coming up with the idea of a charity cake sale in aid of the breast cancer campaign, Wear It Pink, Laura Browne and Lucy Westgarth soon had the enthusiastic support of the staff of both offices. Clad in pink, the staff set about baking and selling cakes of all sorts and shapes.
The result was a sellout: chocolate orange cupcakes, carrot cakes, shortbreads, iced buns, doughnuts, scones with jam and cream, they all sold like hotcakes ─ If you'll pardon the outrageous pun! The target sum of £50 was easily passed and the final total reached was a highly creditable £172.85.
'Salesladies' Gabriella Moore and Claire Grimwade laid siege to local businesses and the response was extremely generous. Even a local solicitors' office loved the cakes, were very impressed with Gabriella, and then left a message to say they would be back in their lunch hour to buy more!
Laura and Lucy were delighted with the success of the charity drive and said: "We are really pleased because we surpassed our original target. We'd like to say a big thank-you to all the staff for the baking bonanza their culinary skills produced; and a thank-you too to all the local businesses whose contributions helped us reach a total which exceeded our expectations.
